Mani che camminano pensierose; mani come gambe sollevate in aria in cerca di leggerezza; mani vezzose che si compiacciono indossando il loro vestito colorato; mani equilibriste che volteggiano sospese nell’aria; mani che nascondono volti intimiditi; mani contemplative; mani totemiche; mani africane; mani scaramantiche! .... mani con una loro anima.
Sono mani gioiose, giocose, spiritose talvolta pensierose. E’ la vita delle mani.
"Il filo conduttore della mia ricerca artistica fin dall’inizio è stato quello di ridurre alla forma più elementare quello che andavo ad indagare, sia che fosse l’uomo o l’oggetto. Hands pensively walking; hands raising on air like legs looking for lightness; mincing hands rejoicing at wearing their colored dress; whirling hands hanging in air; hands hiding intimidated faces; contemplative hands; totemic hands; African hands; propitiatory hands! ... hands with their own soul.
They're joyful; jolly, witty, sometimes pensive. That's handslife!
